If I swear drinking a glass of water while standing on my head gets rid of my hiccups, it does. That doesn’t mean you should try it. I don’t know if that’s safe for you. Check with your doctor first. (I don’t see how this would help and really don’t suggest it so maybe don’t do it anyway…)

My opinions of literature, politics, or kale are probably not the same as yours. If I love a book or product and recommend it, please consider that all people are different and you may not like it at all. That might make for good conversation but not contempt or hostility.

I will not allow any sort of rudeness or hate speech on my site. Users will be reported and banned. Please let me know if someone is being nasty.

As a reviewer, I may receive free products, such as books, in trade for an honest review. I will always disclose this within a review. It doesn’t shape my opinion in any way, and I am not obligated to leave a good review. I don’t typically waste my time on products I don’t like so you may not see many negative reviews. (It isn’t that I love every book I read but, man, I’d rather talk about the ones I do!) Also, I will always look for the good in things. Authors put a lot of work into writing and deserve credit where it is due!
